Pedagogy

How we work with students

We treat tutoring as a partnership between the student, their school expectations, and the adults who support them at home—not a one-size replacement for classroom instruction.

Session design

Each meeting has a visible agenda: review prior errors, introduce one new strategy, apply it to current coursework, and assign a realistic independent task. We avoid passive “lecture only” blocks for adolescents.

Transparency

Families receive brief written notes summarizing objectives and practice—not grades or judgments about the student’s character. Sensitive feedback goes through parents or guardians when appropriate.

Boundaries

We do not write graded assignments for students, impersonate them in school portals, or guarantee admission outcomes. If those requests appear, we pause service and reset expectations in writing.

Platforms
Live sessions use reputable video tools chosen for reliability and your school’s policies. Cameras on for academic rapport is preferred; we accommodate disability and privacy needs case by case.
